Thousands of Redlanders travel along Old Cleveland Road each day heading into the city. Most would be familiar with the Gateway on-ramp near Mt Petrie Road in Belmont, where a third lane of traffic forms every morning which, although helps ease some congestion, is dangerous for cyclists and is actually illegal.
That is why I am calling on the Minister and TMR to deliver funding for the Gateway Motorway on-ramp upgrade.
The design study for the upgrade has already been conducted and concluded, and now it's time to get on with the job of fixing the on-ramp. That why I am petitioning the Minister and the Department of Transport and Main Roads to get this upgrade done.
